Rural Women's Assembly Sponsorship Opportunity
Rural Migrant Ministries Rural Women's Assembly is hosted annually for rural women & allies. This year's Statewide Rural Women's Assembly takes place on the weekend of December 8th-10th at the Villa Roma, in Callicoon, NY in the Catskills.
It's going to be a very exciting weekend of sharing, program, networking, learning and empowerment for 200 women and their allies.
RMM provides an educational program for all children who attend, as well as Interpretation and Transportation for rural women (farmworkers and agricultural workers from Western NY, Long Island, Sullivan County and the Hudson Valley.)
As W.A.R.E shares a similar mission as RMM, and stands with women from all communities, we ask that you consider covering the cost of the rural women and their children to attend the assembly by providing a sponsorship. Any amount of money will be helpful in getting these women to the assembly.
Women WARE members, of course, are invited as this is an event for rural women and their allies, with much to learn from each other and many opportunities to support each other.
