James Schuler to Lead the 2025 Wayne County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration
The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration kicks off Black History Month in a Year on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20, 2025, from 12:45 to 3:15 PM at the Redeem Bethel C.O.G.I.C. Community Fellowship Center (4496 Rte. 104, Williamson, NY 14589). The theme of the 2025 Wayne County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration is the importance of struggling against racism in all its forms in the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy of non-violent resistance. Local community leader and child advocate, James Schuler, will deliver the keynote address. In addition, we will continue to feature short motivational talks from Wayne County schools’ young alumni and uplifting performances from The Redeem Bethel Youth Choir and others from near and far. The Celebration event will be preceded by a Commemorative March led by Justice Organization for Youth (JOY) gathering at 11:45 in the Williamson Main Street Parking Lot and marching at noon. The day will culminate in the church’s annex building with a free Community Meal immediately following the Celebration Program.
Come join the 2025 Wayne County MLK Celebration in the spirit of shared values.
