Butler Mural Dedication: Samuel Ward and Antoinette Brown

You are invited to the dedication of a historical mural to commemorate the historical significance of Samuel Ward, the first African-American minister in Wayne County and Antoinette Brown, the first ordained female minister in the United States. Both served the Congregational Church in South Butler in the 1800’s.
